<description>How the Moon Creates Tides We created this animation by simulating Earth’s tides in an exaggerated way through procedural methods in Blender, making the movement of the oceans much easier to see and understand. The Moon’s gravity pulls more strongly on the side of Earth facing it and less strongly on the opposite side, creating two tidal bulges around the planet., As Earth rotates, these bulges move around the globe, producing the cycle of high and low tides experienced along coastlines. For clarity, the relative speed and motion of Earth and the Moon are not shown to scale in this animation. The entire sequence was rendered in Blender Cycles to create a highly detailed, immersive, and breathtaking experience of this natural phenomenon while keeping the underlying physics as clear as possible.
